Herb Ritts: L.A. Style

With summer weather almost here and the days getting longer, it's the perfect time to pay a visit to the Getty Museum to enjoy sweeping sunset views of the city along with some of the Getty's latest exhibits, most notably "Herb Ritts: L.A. Style".

You may not have heard of L.A. based photographer Herb Ritts before, but I'm sure you've seen some of his work.  He is responsible for some of the most sensual and artistic photos seen in the advertising campaigns of Calvin Klein, Guess, Versace and many more.  He is also known for his black and white portraits of celebrities, many of which ended up on the covers of Vogue, Vanity Fair and GQ.

I'm sure you're all familiar with Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" music video, which often tops the list of sexiest music videos of all time.  Guess who directed it.  That's right, Herb Ritts.

Admission to the Getty is free, although parking will cost you $15.  I suggest carpooling or going on a Saturday after 5 PM where parking is only $10 and the museum stays open until 9 pm.
